AGILE LEADERSHIP—Navigating the World: Connecting the Global Economy

Leadership America will launch in the inaugural session of "Leadership America Abroad" with a trip to Beijing and Shanghai, China at the conclusion of 2009 Session III, October 11 - 13, in Washington, DC. The China excursion departs on Wednesday, October 14.

Prior to departure, a half day preparatory session will convene at The Omni Shoreham Hotel on Tuesday afternoon, October 13. This trip to Beijing and Shanghai will include briefings from State Department officials and economic policy leaders.

A presentation of The Women's Museum: An Institute for the Future, this international session will feature an incisive look at China's economy and its ever-expanding impact in the global marketplace. The agenda will provide unequaled opportunity to connect with women leaders in a country whose destiny is inevitably intertwined with our own.

The interaction among women leaders in China and the US will heighten global awareness of where and how our agendas coincide, open opportunities for agile, connective leadership in a rapidly changing world forum, and create a global women's leadership network.
